LOCAL INVOLVEMENT

The New York Angels have made a personal and professional commitment to the ongoing development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in New York City. This includes mentoring exciting local startup companies and lecturing and speaking on educational panels across the metropolitan area. It also includes deep relationships with the NYU Stern School of Business, Columbia Business School, Baruch College, Pace University, and the InSITE student counseling accelerator program. At these schools, New York Angel members participate in the annual business plan competition and also offer a “Future Angels” program for select business school students. Future Angels are carefully selected business school students who act as interns for the New York Angels. They get an opportunity to network with the Angels, attend meetings, and participate in due diligence. Additionally, the Angels work with the growing number of incubators in NYC.
