FAREWELL LETTER FROM LIZ LINDSEY, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
It has been a pleasure and my honor to have served as the Executive Director of New York Angels these past ten years. Working with our Board and our members has been the opportunity of a lifetime: I acquired a new set of skills, and familiarity with a whole new industry for me, moving from teaching and research in the Social Sciences to Finance. I have discovered where my true talents lie.
I have been able to work with some of the most amazing people I have ever met, especially the Chairs and Chair Emeriti of NYA: Cindy Cook, Mark Schneider, David Rose, and Brian Cohen, who made the leap to hire me as Executive Director in the first place. I will always be grateful for my career at NYA, and though I am told I leave with big shoes to fill, know that the organization will be in good hands with Peter Bodenheimer as the new director. I am proud of New York Angels, one of the finest and most active angel groups in all of North America, and wish my colleagues at both NYA and in the ecosystem my very best. I will miss all of you.
