Allstar Gaming
Several members of the New York Angels recently invested in Allstar's Seed 2 round. Allstar is an early stage gaming startup that focuses on short-form video content. Like Twitch meets TikTok, the company combines a next-generation platform with powerful creator tools and content infrastructure enabling any gamer to create, watch and share snackable video content. Allstar has recently surpassed 1M total clips created on track for over 300,000 created every month (up 600%+ YOY) with an estimated 1M+ minutes watched in the past 30 days.

Terecircuits
New York Angels individual members finalized their first close in Terecircuits this June. Terecircuits develops unique materials and processes for advanced manufacturing that allow these products to be built at scale, 100x faster and with 10x greater accuracy than is achievable with today's best practices. Terecircuits’ patented unique placement technology allows singulated die and other components to be placed within microns of each other then encapsulated using our flexible, low-viscosity fill material. Several members of New York Angels were attracted to the company due to its patented technology and leadership from Terecircuits CEO Wayne Rickard, who has vast knowledge of the semiconductor and display industry.

Three years ago, members of New York Angels invested in the seed round of Basepaws. Less than 30 days ago, Zoetis Inc., the world’s leading animal health company, announced the completion of its acquisition of Basepaws. Basepaws allows cat owners to identify the exact breed of their pet cats using deeply scientific, DNA-based health testing. Their 360° view of DNA, veterinary records, and dietary records provides unique insight into potential health outcomes.
NYA Member Alex Goldberg first met Basespaws CEO & Founder Anna Skaya at United Nations Women's Entrepreneurship Day. In 2019, Basepaws developed a partnership with Purina, who created a DNA Diet pet food product, and through the pandemic, cats became even more ascendant as "family members," and the DNA test kits revenue grew much faster than expected. Basepaws success continued to soar when it appeared on Shark Tank in 2021.

Zylo
Many New York Angels members invested in the Series A and additionally in the Series B rounds of financing. Zylo Thereapuetics enhances drug delivery through proprietary silica encapsulation technology called Z-pods®. Zylo’s technology is currently being used and/or studied for applications in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, animal health, and agricultural chemicals.
Recently, Zylo Therapeutics closed $5.225 Million in Series B financing.
