Brian Silver is Managing Director of Acquisitions and Strategic Initiatives for The Bravtias Group Inc (“TBGI”) based in Montclair, NJ. TBGI is a family office and vertically integrated real estate development company. The company focuses on the adaptive reuse and redevelopment of historic buildings, early-stage venture investing, and philanthropy. Brian is responsible for sourcing real estate acquisitions, overseeing strategic asset management initiatives, managing investor relationships and finding new angel investment opportunities. During his time at TBGI, he has completed venture investments in companies such as Epic Charging, Cornucopian Capital SPV, SCRN, and a De Novo Community Bank.
Before joining TBGI, Brian worked on the private real estate team at Partners Group AG, a global investment manager, where he completed c. $3.0bn of real estate transactions throughout the United States. Prior to Partners Group AG, he worked in acquisitions and asset management at Time Equities Inc., a vertically integrated owner and operator of real estate in the United States and Europe. Brian has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Masters in Real Estate Development from New York University.
Brian enjoys traveling with his wife Nikki, golfing, playing piano, and watching sports. He is also an active member of several non-profits sitting on the boards for The Montclair Business Improvement District and the Friends of the Montclair Township Animal Shelter.
