Derrick is a AI/ML and genAI leader with a background in software engineering, and experience in both software and hardware spaces. He's currently at OpenAI where he works with enterprises to deploy AI solutions. He was previously at Scale AI where he led the enterprise operations organization. He is also a former startup founder and spent time at Apple as a software engineer and Amazon as a product manager.
